Debbie has two decades of experience working with adults, families, and youth. She has dedicated her professional career to supporting others in living a connected and fulfilling life. She values listening to your needs and collaborating to support you in achieving your therapeutic goals. She works with you to explore underlying patterns that could be creating stagnation or barriers to moving forward from a place of center. Debbie values the healing qualities of being in nature and incorporates this into her personal and professional endeavors.
Debbie earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from The University of Michigan School of Social Work. Following her masters degree she obtained her clinical license (LCSW) in 2005, enhancing the quality of therapeutic services she provides. Debbie earned her IMH-E® Infant Mental Health Mentor - Clinical where she has been endorsed by the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health for "culturally sensitive, relationship-focused practice promoting infant mental health." She graduated from the mentorship program of Harris Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Training Institute at Southwest Human Development in Phoenix, AZ. She has additional specialized training in working with adults, children, & families. Over the years Debbie has had involvement with the Therapeutic Adventure Professionals Group incorporating adventure learning into her therapeutic work. She is currently training in a four year clinical Qigong program through The Center Place in Boulder, CO; gaining insight and understanding of the impacts of energy work on supporting overall health.
In addition to providing therapy, Debbie greatly enjoys presenting and teaching. She has presented keynote addresses, sessions at international conferences, and multiple local trainings.
